These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of Velvet Steps (velvetsteps.uk) (the "Site"). By creating an account, browsing, or using any part of the Site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
Velvet Steps is a platform connecting independent content creators ("Creators") with their supporters ("Clients"). Creators publish and sell access to their own photo and video content; Clients may browse public previews, register an account, and unlock content from Creators they choose to support.
You must be at least 18 years old to register an account, view unlocked content, or use the messaging feature on this Site. Age is confirmed using an independent third-party verification provider before any restricted content or feature becomes accessible. We do not store the photo or document used for that check ourselves — only the resulting pass/fail result is kept on your account. Accounts found to belong to a person under 18, or created using false information to circumvent age verification, will be terminated immediately and may be reported to the relevant authorities.
Velvet Steps is a content-viewing platform, not a request, escort, solicitation, or webcam service. The following are strictly prohibited, whether made through the Site's messaging feature, an account profile, order notes, email, or any other channel connected to your use of the Site:
Any of the above is grounds for immediate, permanent suspension of your account without refund or notice, and may be reported to law enforcement where appropriate. Creators are encouraged to report any such message using the contact details below rather than responding to it.
Creators retain full ownership and copyright of everything they publish on the Site. Unlocking a piece of content grants you a personal, non-transferable licence to view it for your own use. You may not download, screenshot, copy, redistribute, resell, publish elsewhere, or otherwise share any content obtained through the Site, in whole or in part, without the Creator's explicit written permission.
Regardless of the above, the Site may never be used to upload, request, or share: content depicting or implying involvement of anyone under 18; content involving non-consenting participants; content that is otherwise unlawful in the United Kingdom. Impersonating another person, or creating an account on behalf of someone other than yourself, is also prohibited.
Clients register using a chosen username and alias rather than their real name, in line with the Site's approach to Client anonymity — we do not ask for or store a Client's real name or payment details. You are responsible for keeping your login details confidential and for activity that happens under your account. Creator accounts require admin approval, including a passed age-verification check, before going live publicly.
Where the Site presents a way to purchase credits, content, vouchers, or a subscription, the payment and fulfilment process may involve steps handled outside the Site itself while the Site's payment integration is being finalised. Details of exactly how to pay will always be made clear at the point of checkout. No card or bank details are stored on this Site.
We may suspend or terminate any account, at our discretion and without prior notice, for breach of these Terms — in particular Section 3 above. You may stop using the Site and request account deletion at any time by contacting us.
The Site is provided "as is". We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability and are not responsible for content, conduct, or statements made by Creators or Clients. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Velvet Steps' liability to you in connection with the Site is limited to the amount you have paid us in the preceding 3 months. Nothing in these Terms limits liability for anything which cannot lawfully be limited or excluded.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continuing to use the Site after a change is posted means you accept the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any dispute will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
